WANTED PERSON
June 15, 2024, Officers Corey Maliff and Amanda Esmart patrolled Clifton Avenue and observed Lisa Dulany, 44, from Lakewood N.J. from previous encounters. Dispatch confirmed an active warrant for theft. Dulany was arrested brought into headquarters for processing and transported to OCJ.
Officer Jose Rivera assisted in the investigation.
THEFT
June 18, 2024, Officers Ryan Laird and Nicholas Meyer responded to a report of a suspicious female carrying boxes in the back parking lot of BP Graphics. The officers observed Megan Murrin, 33, from Lakewood, N.J., by the dumpster on the property with open packages that were not addressed to her. The officers were able to review the video surveillance from the business parking lot showing her carrying the packages and video from where the packages were addressed, revealing Murrin taking the packages. Murrin was arrested for burglary and theft.

DWI
June 20, 2024, Officer Joseph Mandelbaum in the area of East 4th St. and Park Avenue observed a careless vehicle driving erratically in the roadway. Raul Sorianobueno, 48, from Lakewood, N.J. was arrested for DWI and charged with careless and reckless driving.
Officers Kyle Seehausen, Lorenzo Camacho, and James Mahecha assisted in the investigation.
DWI
June 20, 2024, Officer Bryan Vega patrolled West Countyline Rd. and Laurelwood Avenue and conducted a traffic stop. Dispatch confirmed the vehicle registration was suspended and Elias Guzman-Garcia, 24, from Jackson, N.J. had an active warrant for failure to appear and a suspended driver’s license. Guzman-Garcia’s vehicle was impounded, was arrested, and brought into headquarters for processing.

HOMICIDE
June 25, 2024, Several officers from the Lakewood Police Department, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department responded to a 911 call. Upon arrival, they found two unresponsive children at the scene. Naomi Elkins, 27, from Lakewood, New Jersey was arrested for murder.
